The BFB Mast is characterized by equal horizontal and vertical dimensions. This design excels in resisting bending moments, though it is less effective at countering twisting forces. BFB Masts are divided into three classifications, determined by the arrangement of drilling holes intended for mounting purposes.
The B-Series Fabricated Mast is constructed from welded channels and flat sections, forming a robust design. These masts operate independently, offering mechanical autonomy that contributes to optimal overhead electrification (OHE) performance.
Portal Structures are utilized to support OHE for multiple lines (ranging from 2 to 8 tracks), particularly in situations where erecting standalone masts is impractical due to space constraints. There are three primary types of portals: N, O, and R types.
A TTC serves as a viable solution when neither masts nor portals can be deployed due to limited track spacing. It is commonly implemented in areas such as turnouts, crossovers, and platforms to ensure effective installation.
SPS refers to various short components used as connectors between Masts and Portals in electrification systems, facilitating seamless operation throughout the network.
